Green tea should
suit the taste of the drinker, but usually, just a small amount
of good quality tea is needed to make a delicious and satisfying
cup. The same leaves can also be re-brewed to make at least three
cups without any loss of flavour. Chinese tea drinkers believe the
second and third cups are superior to the first - and it has much
less caffeine than your regular cup of breakfast tea. This makes
our green tea an unexpected choice for both quality AND economy.
Postage costs for tea orders are £2.50
- whatever the amount you buy. See our range

Buddhist Tea
This tea was given
its name because it's believed to calm the mind and the soul. It is
also called Jiu Hua Fo Cha. It is a beautiful tea, very green with
large leaves which sink easily to the bottom of the cup. It is a light,
refreshing tea which would suit perfectly anyone coming to green tea
for the first time.

Lu An Guapian
Guapian is a very famous

would suit both the first-timer and anyone who loves tea with a clean,
clear and uplifting flavour.

Jasmine Tea
Our Jasmine Tea is made from high-quality
green tea dried on beds of fresh jasmine flowers to produce a soothing,
delicately flavoured tea. The flavour is not overpowering and won’t
leave the harsh aftertaste of inferior quality jasmine teas. The tea
is a mix of tightly rolled leaves and silver buds with some jasmine
petals. A tea for everyone.

Pearl Jasmine
This is green tea leaves
and buds from Fujian province scented, as above, with fresh jasmine
petals. The tea leaves and buds are then rolled up into a lovely 'pearl'
shape which unfurls and sinks beautifully in the cup, releasing the
light jasmine aroma. It is also know as Dragon Pearl or Dragon Phoenix
Pearl. This relaxing tea suits any tea drinker who enjoys the delicate
flavour of fresh jasmine.

Gong Yi Sun Rise
This combines art with great
tea. The ‘sunrise’ is created by tying the green
tea leaves around a Red Globe Amaranth Flower into a small ball
shape. When you pour on hot water the ball opens like a blossoming
flower, releasing the jasmine flavours. Lovely served in a clear
glass cup or pot.
£6.50
for 50g. (contains about 8-10 'flowers')
Shuang Long Huan Zhu
Another of our ‘tea flowers’,
this opens up in the glass to reveal two strands of jasmine flowers
that rise in the glass as the tea opens, joined at the top by a red
Globe Amaranth flower. A beautiful display, made from great quality
tea. The ‘leaves’ of the flower are made from jasmine-infused
Silver Needle tea leaves. The Chinese name for this tea means ‘Twin
Dragons Juggling a Pearl”.
This tea flower opens in the glass
to release two strands of jasmine flower, which rise gently as the
flower’s ‘petals’ open, with a red Globe Amaranth
flower nestling at the base. The Chinese name means “Love at
First Sight”, reflecting the two strands of flowers facing each
other in the glass. A beautiful display, made from great quality tea.
The ‘leaves’ of the flower are made from jasmine-infused
Silver Needle tea leaves.
Our most dramatic ‘tea
flower’ yet. The ‘petals’ – made from
high quality Silver Needle tea leaves – open up to reveal
a Red Globe Amaranth flower. After a few seconds, as it opens
further, the flower rises at speed on top of a single strand
of jasmine flowers. The tea is less jasmine-flavoured than our
other tea flowers. This has wonderful hints of chocolate and
pear flavour – a dessert in its own right.
£8.00
for 50g. (6-7 flowers)

are curled and look black. The tea itself is a reddish colour
.
